It is the blog dashboard. It is driving me mad! It is also throwing my blog posts in the wrong order in edit, I'm getting 2015 or 2016 posts coming up on the first page. I contacted the blog team by email last week and haven't heard back, so put a ticket in yesterday where they replied they would send it to the relevant team.
@Simona Griskute & @Sandra Harvey - The problem is with the Wix Back Office Blog Manager, it cannot handle more than a couple of hundred posts. I have 2,000+ blog posts in the New Wix Blog and it cannot handle it at all.
The problem is: On the dashboard manager, it loads EVERY single posts in your blog, instead of having pagination or 'Lazy Loading' (which loads the content as you are scrolling).
It actually freezes my full browser and crashes it, so i have to basically close my browser completely. Yes, you could say "well, why don't you use the live site to create posts" - for me, this is unproffesional and it's not how a news company would do things. I want to use the back office, simple as that.
Again, i have emphasised this major flaw for months now and we still have no fix yet. I hope it will come soon though and i always have trust in Wix, but guys, this is slow! Wordpress will be laughing at Wix for this.
We need things to happen faster and all the bugs to be fixed and the blog to load super fast.
Thank you for listening and i hope a fix is revealed soon :)
Hi Robert, thanks for your valuable comment. We are about to release the pagination feature in the business manager which should improve the posts loading experience dramatically.
@Simona Griskute - with respect, the blog team have been saying for the past 3-4 months that they are going to be fixing the iPad view for iPad Pro. This has not happened yet, i wouldn't hold my breath.
I love Wix, i love all of it's other products but the Wix Blog is the one product that has always let the company down. I just need this fixed and all of the other issues i have mentioned.
What i really REALLY want to know is, why is no one reaching out to us to address the concerns or re-assure us of what is happening. Why is no one doing anything about it? You may think that we are not being 'Respectful' or following 'Community Guidelines' but we are just being honest and are frustrated.
I think it also depends on the type of computer, i have an i9 MacBook Pro which is just released.
Hence why it will be a bit faster but, i used to have an i7 - same as yours, and it was SO SLOWWWWWWW!
Didn't say that, just saying that mine will be a bit faster as i've just got the spec up from the 2018 one. But, when i had the same one as yours (which is a really really fast laptop) it was about 3 minutes.
of course we are listening to user and are working to address the issues - all Blog team is working for the better experience of Blog users. As mentioned in my previous comment, we are about to release the pagination feature in dashboard, which will solve the problem. It should be rolled out in a week or so.
As of 1 March 2020 the new blog is so much WORSE than the old blog. How do you turn off autosave (control/shift/A does not work) - the new blog is so slow it is unusable! Simona I see these problems are ongoing since October 2018 - you folks should be embarrassed...RESIGN
thank you for sharing your opinion. However, we always encourage respectful communication as we believe it helps for the cooperation towards a common goal.
The auto-save function comes by default with the blog and it's not possible to turn iit off as for now. Could you please elaborate why auto-save is disturbing to you? I am happy to include your request to the features Wishlist.
The Wix Blog had an impressive journey since 2018 in terms of features, SEO integration, Wix Blog+Corvid integration and many more. You can check the blog updates here: https://www.wix-blog-community.com/blog/
The Wix company is using Wix Blog for its own blogs, to mention a few:
Because autosaving adds 1+ minutes time lost as it begins to autosave...in that time nothing can be done except wait. Look: this new blog is awful. I can't believe anyone ok'd this iteration to go "live." If you read the constant and ongoing complaints people have using the new blog, you folks should quickly realize that there are very real, very major and very widespread problems - that people have been pointing out since Oct. 2018 when the first iterations of the new blog were available to use. Please pull the new blog and go back to the old one...start from scratch because this NEW BLOG IS AWFUL. Personally I apologize to you for using harsh language. PROFESSIONALLY I WILL AGAIN WRITE: YOU ARE A SHRILL FOR WIX; THE NEW BLOG IS AWFUL...HOW BLIND TO COMMENTS CAN YOU FOLKS BE?
Are you doing it from the Wix Business Manager? If so, yes 100%!

Hi, thanks for submitting the ticket to the support, they will handle the issue.

Sounds like a showstopper. A few hundred posts limit
Absolutely Scoobie, i invite you to watch this:
@Robert Hamilton that's bad. Is this a new thing?
@Scoobie lol, was that a joke? It's been like this for a LONG LONG TIME.
Your new post was quicker than mine Robert. I videoed just over 3 minutes to load. Same for editing a post.
I think it also depends on the type of computer, i have an i9 MacBook Pro which is just released. Hence why it will be a bit faster but, i used to have an i7 - same as yours, and it was SO SLOWWWWWWW!
@Sandra Harvey - lol i dread to think how someone with a Windows normal spec laptop accesses it..
It’s not as though I have an old laptop. Mine is a late 2017 MacBook Pro.
Didn't say that, just saying that mine will be a bit faster as i've just got the spec up from the 2018 one. But, when i had the same one as yours (which is a really really fast laptop) it was about 3 minutes.

Okay - good stuff Simona, but I won't believe it until I see it! :)
I have upgraded just now. It is terrible! Impossible to work. Very desappointed.
Hi @Ariane Sasso,
II'm sorry to hear about your disappointment. We aim the transfer to the new Wix Blog to be smooth for all Wix Blog users.
Could you please specify what makes the new Wix Blog inconvenient and dissatisfying to you?
Happy to guide you through it and offer any assistance needed.
Simona
Hi, Simona. At the first day, was really hard to write letters and words. I need to expect a lot each character. But now it is very better.
Hey, Simona. Now I understand whats is happen.
The blog is saving every time, many times. And it hinders the work.
Could have more time between saves. It is not good, really.
