I think by default both on Desktop and Mobile this currently is not possible however, I'm sure it can be done actually. Let's try the following.
"Pinning" elements
Let's open our WIX HTML 5 Editor and go to our Blog Page.
First Hide your current menu
Within your website click on the + and add some buttons
Label your buttons to your Blog Menu Catagories
Right Click your Buttons and Pin them to the side of your website or to the locations that fits best for your vertical needs
Link your buttons to your Blog Custom Feed Pages.
You can create a custom Feed Page by Adding a New Page to your website and simply install a Custom Feed by clicking on Blog Elements and adding one to your new page.
Finally, you'll want to see if everything works.

You'll notice my Pinned Buttons on the side of my website, you'll notice they're linked to my custom Blog Feed Pages but they are vertical.
