Hi. I'd like to change the color of my blog menu buttons when they are clicked. Right now the color is set to a green/aqua which doesn't work with my site's color scheme. Please see the pic.
You can change the active colour of the blog navigation menu. Please do not forget to customise it in the post page settings too (if post page settings are enabled on you site):
Hi, I have the new blog and it auto-loaded it with Brown and Yellow colors.. So I changed the colors to match my site, however on mobile it stayed brown and yellow. I have tried to edit the colors on the mobile site but there is not an option. Anyone else have this issue or do you think it's a bug?
Hello @Penelope L'amore currently there is no possibility to configure design colors settings in mobile separately, it is controlled from the desktop App-settings or site colors.
In your scenario there is couple of things that needs to be done in order to achieve consistent result between desktop and mobile:
1) Blog menu.
It is wired to button style, that can be found on both feed and post page app-settings under Design tab - "Buttons and Margins". In your case, it is needed to change button background color to "white" and button text to "black".
2) Categories menu / dropdown color.
- To change how it looks on your feed you need to change your site color pallete from golden color to white.
- To change how it looks on your post page, it needs to be the same as in your post page paragraph text.
If the categories menu on mobile are not crucial you can disable categories labels in your blog mobile settings. We will provide intuitive fix and ability to customize easily in the future.
3) Post Layout and Color.
It seems that you are using different layouts in desktop and mobile.
a) If you want to have more consistent look on mobile and desktop, simply change the layout on mobile to "Side by Side" or "One Column" - all the colors will be the same of what you have set in the desktop.
b) If you like the current layout on mobile "Magazine", simply go to desktop app-settings change the layout to "Magazine" or "Postcard" and apply design changes that you want to be reflected on your mobile. After you are happy with the design, change back the layout on desktop to previous one - all your design changes will be reflected on your mobile.
@Simona G. Hi, I am on the editor X blog and having the same issue where I am unable to change the text color of "selected" menu items. It has chosen a random color and I am unable to find anywhere under any of tabs where this color is even selected.
The "All Posts" text shows as a yellow font and I can't figure out how to change this.
Hi @Haines,
thank you for your post. This is a know issue, very very soon we'll introduce the solution. I'll update you here.
Thanks Simona! :)
Hi @Haines, good news!

I don't have that option when I'm in the Design tab. I am only able to see "Font Size & Color" as an option.
Any tips on how to enable that setting of changing the colors?
Thanks
Hi @Martin,
In order to change the color of your Blog menu, go to your main blog feed, click on it, select settings and head to "design":
Awesome, Simona! Thanks for the update :)
