When notifying blog subscribers of new posts, the system sends an automatic email with the address reading 'Welcome to Your New Blog' and the subject reading "...wrote a new post in Welcome to Your Blog.' How can I change these automatic settings? I saw nothing under the 'Settings' tab. Am I missing something?

any update if they will allow subject line changes for blog notifications through email? problem still exist
Hi Shalondria,
thank you for the question. It is not possible as for now, but I'm including your request in the features Wishlist.
Is the subject line able to be changed when emails are sent to subscribers? Right now the email reads "Notification from (my business name). Can the subject be changed to perhaps the blog's title?
Hi All,
UPDATE: from now on in notifications your site name is used instead of Welcome to Your Blog default text (or instead of the header text, if you have it).
Let us know your feedback!
Hi Afra,
we are working on allowing to change the blog title and descriptions in the notifications, will inform you once it is ready - very soon!
Hi there, I am having the identical issue posted by Gwen, along with the lack of functionality as described in the instructions to change the "welcome to your new blog" email. Would love some help! :)
Hi Gwen,
regarding setting members as writers - that was a temporal bug which was fixed.
As for changing the blog title and descriptions in the notifications - we are working on allowing all users to customise it. I'm glad to hear that Kris from support fixed the issue for you in advance :)
Hi Simona, Your colleague, Kris, has resolved this issue for us this morning. Thank you to everyone at Wix Support for their attention to our issue.
My original issue still exists. I am not able to edit the address name or subject heading for notifications going to all of my blog subscribers, so all news goes out as "Welcome to Your New Blog".
According to your instructions, I should be able to do this, however, I do not see the Blog Title or Blog Description options as described at:
Changing the Default Image and "Welcome to Your Blog" Header Text in the New Wix Blog
https://support.wix.com/en/article/changing-the-default-image-and-welcome-to-your-blog-header-text-in-the-new-wix-blog
These two fields do not appear for me:
7. Under Blog Title, enter the name of your blog.
8. Under Blog Description, delete the default text.
It looks like the 'label' needs to change - this seems to be the line of code:
""label":"Welcome to Your Blog","menuLabel":"ALL MAIN STREET POSTS","description":"Review the posts below for some great tips. To edit this header go to Settings \u003E Categories."
Thanks.
Hi Gwen,
it was indeed a bug which is already solved. Please let us know if by any chance you still experience problems here. Thanks!
Thank you. Not sure if this is related, but I seem to have lost the ability to make certain members of my site as 'Writers' in the blog. I had been able to do this a few days ago, but not today.
Hi Gwen,
we are working on allowing to change the blog name in the email notifications, will update you once it is possible!
