Hi
So I'm playing around with the new blog and I've figured out how to display my blog separately to the actual "blog" page by using the add on.
But how do I get the most recent posts add on to display my posts VERTICALLY? It just comes up with 3 horizontal, and I can't see an option to change that?
Thanks
Please go back to Recent/Feature post widget with slider layout option. This minimizes footprint while containing multiple post summaries.
Hey OneHungryAsian (Im always hungry)
There is a way to actually do this if you 100% need it. It involves having the WIX Forum installed also alongside the WIX Blog. Once you have both installed you can right click the WIX Forum and select "Add Ons" and you'll notice you have the ability to add a vertical post.
Now I'm only saying this if that specific feature is a deal breaker for your project or client. Hope this walk around helps - Cheers man.
Hi @OneHungryAsian,
glad to hear you are using Wix Blog features to customise the look you need.
As for now it is not possible to change the layout for the recent post widget. I'm adding your request to the features Wishlist.
However, you could use the Custom feed widgets which allows layout customisation. You are able to select if you want to display all posts or posts within particular category, choose a layout, number of posts, etc. It will also display the most recent posts.
