I have just signed up for premium but will be cancelling within the 14 day period if I cant get rid of the sign in on my blog posts. I have turned off comments but the sign in is still there? Cant anyone help with this
Sorry for the late response. You are using ADI which is very limited and you can not turn off the sign-in function on the Post page. I would recommend switching to the Editor. There you will have much more customizations and you will be able to turn off signing in.
Let me know if you need any help or if you have questions!

Why can you leave a comment on Wordpress blogs without signing up? They don't face this legal challenge? Please Wix solve this problem, it looks really unprofessional that people need to sign up to leave a comment.
Really hoping for this; but surely if we can moderate comments before they are published that would prevent all the spam and many of the other problems

I bought 2 premium accounts. I am working on them for months and I noticed that I can't give my users the chance of anonymous commenting. Interesting. Also when I put third party comments, I can't not remove the first one. The first one is saying "You can not comment on this post!" and the third one is below that for anonymous commenting.
Hi! So currently there's no way to add the Facebook Comments app so it appears in ALL blog posts by default? It would really be handy. So people could choose to leave a comment on Facebook or (if they don't use Facebook) use some other Wix feature. When will this happen, please???
we hear your feedback and we take it seriously. Our ultimate goal is the Wix comments system best addressing user needs. Since adding flexibility to the comments system is technically more complicated, while we'll work on that, users will be able to toggle-off Wix comments system and use third-party providers comments instead.
This is an example of the amount of traffic my blog gets, but no one comments. I was holding out for a change to the Wix comment system soon. It is so much cleaner than the third party ones currently available. Now I am actually regretting my decision to move away from my wordpress blog :-( I like the ease of use of Wix and the blog platform, but these features are so basic for us to be even having to ask for
I agree, why are they not just fixing the wix comment system so that people don’t have to sign up to comment/like???!! Why do they have to make us use third party comment apps????
I think the wix comment system should come first. It’s already there, why not improve that instead of the third party options? Another huge problem is people who actually do go through the trouble of signing up to comment, indicate to remember their sign in details, but it doesn’t. You have to enter email and password each time.
How soon will these changes come? I'm starting my blog and I want to encourage my readers to leave comments but I know that won't happen if they need to log into a Wix account.
Hi, as for now visitors can leave the comments only by signing up on the site. By becoming members of your sites visitors not only can comment and like the posts, but also to subscribe to receive email notifications about the new blog posts, new comments under the post he commented and more. You as site owner can reach much better engagement with your blog readers.
But answering your question - we are working on the changes in commenting system, soon you'll be able to use other commenting solutions.

Hey, your request was so many two ago.
Wix said it will update this feature two years ago.
But?
Nothing has changed.
So, I just can switch off the option to leave a comment or allow it, but then my visitors needs to log in???

Hi Tisha,
as a matter of policy we do not disclose ETAs, but we are working on allowing to customise elements in the post page, meaning adding FB comments too.
