I have a large gap (screen length) between the comments and 'join our mailing list' at the bottom in the live blog post which isn't showing in the single page post in the editor.
@Sandra, it's not a bug. Try this: go to editor, press preview and navigate to article "Simon Cowell set to sign a 3 year deal for BGT and X Factor". Close the preview by pressing "Back to Editor". Having post page with this article you will see that sidebar elements are sticked to the footer. This is why they are in the bottom of the screen when article is long. Move them up and leave few pixels gap between Adsense element and footer.
@Julius Šeškevičius This is crazy. I did exactly what you suggested and it brought the subscription and the comments to halfway up the blog post.
Adjusted the latest post by bringing them to the bottom and the gap is back on the original and look what its done to the 3 year deal one. https://www.justsimoncowell.com/post/simon-cowell-set-to-sign-a-3-year-deal-for-bgt-and-x-factor
All lined up with the purple bar, ad not touching the footer and published.
Still a huge gap in Safari. Chrome and Firefox are showing both boxes overlapped. https://www.justsimoncowell.com/post/simon-cowell-set-to-sign-a-3-year-deal-for-bgt-and-x-factor
I'm sorry to hear it didn't help. There are multiple options for a workaround: You can switch order of comments with subscribe or move subscribe to the side of the post and make it vertical form.
I will add your request for native comments without login to our wish list.
hi Sandra,
Post page has dynamic content and length depends on the post length. You probably saved this page having long page open in the editor.
To fix this
1. go to Site Editor
2. press Preview
3. Navigate to the shortest post you have
4. Move comments app and mailing list items up
5. Double click Adjust page height handle on the footer or resize page to the size you like.
Hi Juilus,
I have completed the above and published. Now it has thrown out all the side bar too.
This post will get a couple of thousand views and it looks a mess.
Haven't had this problem before, could it be a bug?

@Julius I have just put up a new post and the massive gap is still there.
I have taken out the Adsense in case it was that. Both boxes are now lined up perfectly in edit.
I really need to find out why this is happening, it looks so unprofessional.
@Sandra Let's try the other way:
Press Tools and enable Toolbar on the top menu:
Select mailing list container and add 20-25px to current position in Y direction:
Hi Julius, I tried that, unfortunately it didn't make any difference.
I have now deleted the comment app and everything is back where it should be.
The problem appears to be with the comment app within the blog or it didn't like the subscribe app beneath it which is a shame.
We really need a native comments solution without the visitor having to log in.

@Julius thanks for your patience with trying to find a solution for me.
I will have a play with it.
An ability to comment without a paid app as part of the blog is very important, not only to me I’m sure.
