Hey everyone, Im new to the blogging community, and I recently published by diy website. Im having trouble getting approved for adsense. Since I have been applying I keep getting denied due to " no content." Has anyone else had similar issues? They're so vague with their response, i dont necessarily know the right amount of content to have. Also im not even one hundred percent sure that I put the ad code on the correct page, coding is not my strong suit!
Any help would be appreciated, if anyone could check out my blog and see if i just need some more posts, or a different set up or what?
Thanks !
Hi I had this same issue.i am confused as to how its saying no content for me too.it seems to not read the blog pages as a page so it's thinking I have no content. I am trying to figure out from wix now if the issue of where they say to put the code on that custom code section and how it says to click apply to all pages.if that is really is applying to blog pages too. I also used to have a Google adsense account in the past as well and feel this is a wix hosting issue.
Thanks for the reply, would you let me know if wix helps you resolve the issue ? I’ve given up on trying I’ve been rejected so many times ! Hopefully if they fix it for you they can for me too , let me know thanks !!
@HEATHER GARVEY yes I will for sure.i am in middle of talking to them now. I am also going to be using the Google adsense forum to pose the question to find help to see what the issue is.if it doesn't work in the end that will be a big issue since the whole point of be having my blog is to have ads to have an income stream in the future.
@HEATHER GARVEY It seems the google adsense community experts have shared some bad news about adsense and wix blog. I am a little dissapointed and need to investigate more into how to handle this issue. What I want to actually do is find some wix blog users who actually have adsense on their websites? Thats the only way this can be disproved.

I just added the question in google adsense help. Fingers crossed we get some answers. Here is the link in case you were interested in looking as well. https://support.google.com/adsense/thread/1811314?msgid=1811314
Oh wow that’s crazy ! Maybe that’s why ! Thanks for looking into it
Wow, this is a terrible mess it seems
Hi guys,
We do allow using adsense in the Wix blog. Please check out this article and follow all of the steps mentioned.
Maya do you have any examples of customers with wix blogs that have google adsense actually in action? Unfortunately from what I have learned from Google forums is that your wix containers are not being recognized by google adsense crawlers. I tried too many times and it kept rejecting me saying there is no content which is obviously not true since I have content. The article you are referencing I have already followed many times to see if i missed anything. It doesnt work I hate to say it. But hopefully this feedback is helping you guys re-invent the blog within wix to fix the issue.
I agree with Meg, I also followed those exact instructions to no avail. Its the no content issue that we are both stuck on, and the reason our accounts are getting denied.
@Meganoosh Avakian Well, check out this post, it uses the new wix blog and it has an ad in it (don't forget to pause your add blocker).
You can also check this blog, here they are using the adsense app and the ads are not embedded in the post, but shown on sidebar.
This are only 2 examples that I came across, I'm sure that there are more :)
My website www.backwaterreview.com was recently approved after several rejections. I pasted the adsense code on each blog post page at the bottom using the html embedding button. It took less than 24 hours to be approved after that. I have adds running on my pages now, but still having an issue placing the adds in the blog portion.
I wonder if they have that in their directions. Interesting. Thanks for sharing this. I already had to move my blog out but have other websites without blogs I manage with wix. I couldn't make it work. But I'll remember for future reference.
