I've updated to the New Blog and formatted the Post List on my site homepage. However, there doesn't appear to be an option to change how the date appears.
The date automatically appears as an abbreviated month followed by the day as a number.
Is there any way to change this so that it appears in a different format?
Following. When is the date format going to become more flexible? It's so basic and, had I known, probably wouldn't have started with WIX tbh....
So, in the meantime, I have to migrate everything to a different platform that isn't faulty. Fantastic. This really should be a priority, Julius. "Jun 22" is not an acceptable way to display the date in any country other than the US. It's ridiculous that this is the only way to display it. Having the date in a format that makes sense is not a "feature", it's basic functionality that you don't have, and apparently have no plans to introduce. So my choice is don't have a date displayed at all, or have it displayed in a format that makes no sense to any of my users. Pathetic, dude.
Any idea when? Seems a bit silly to have the only date format available as one that is grammatically incorrect and only used in the US, when everyone else in the world uses ordinal numbers for dates? Sooner this can be sorted the better, seeing as several people have already said "why have you dated a post as if it’s next year?" because it says Jun 22 instead of June 22nd.
Hi Rob and Andrew,
I'm sorry for the late response. You can hide date in the widget settings, but choosing date format is not yet possible in Blog.
Following. Seriously though, can NOBODY answer this? In 4 months?!
