I want to have the Wix Blog on my site but I do not wish to have all my members to be able to post content. I wish to have this controlled by my site's Blog editors but want to leverage all other features of Wix Blog. I am able to do this as I wanted except for the 'Make profile public' button and the community page URL that shows up on the Member area. These elements only show up when you add 'Wix Blog' to your site.

This is a bit of an annoyance as it is not the purpose of my site to have that as an option and there doesn't seem to be an option to disable this from the member card component's settings.
As a workaround, I had hidden these elements behind a container box which serves the purpose. The problem now though is that when a user wants to edit profile (clicking the 3 dots) the 'Save' option in the Member card component gets hidden behind the container box and so my users can't update their profile picture or username (screenshot below).

I am aware certain elements and components are proprietary and can't completely change its functionality. I am hoping someone might have an idea for a better (more elegant) workaround for me to be able to hide this from my site members? Please help.
We also need to disable the 'make profile public' feature.
Hi Yohaan.
With the Wix Blog only users with Writing permission can write on it. Other users will not be able to write on the site.
The profiles are public or private to protect the users data. Once a user comment on a blog post, in order to do it he has to have his profile public, since in the comments we will display the image and the name.
On the member area, you cannot hide those details, but we will take note and improve in our future versions of Members Area.
