I followed all the instructions written in the link below.
https://www.wix-blog-community.com/post/how-to-create-a-beautiful-custom-feed-with-pro-gallery
But since I linked Pro Gallery to Blog Posts, it shows allllll of the blog posts, like the image shown below.
I only want to show posts in 'Past Performance' category, but it also shows posts in 'Notice' category. I can't find a way to filter it to show posts under a certain category. 'Filter' function doesn't have an option for letting users sort and show blog posts in just one category designated on Blog editor.
Please help let me know how to enable showing posts in a certain category on Pro Gallery connected to Blog Posts Database. Thank you.
Hey @xandro
Sorry for taking so long with an answer 😊 If you want to show all the collections you need to go to 'Content Manager' in the Editor
Then select 'Manage content'
And go to 'Advanced settings' to enable 'Wix App collections'
Now you should be able to see all the collections in dataset!
Hope that helps 😊 let me know how that goes.

Hey @xandro,
In this case it should not make a difference whether blog is published or not and I assume you are the owner of your site, so you have all the permissions to edit.
As I understand, it doesn’t show Blog collection at all for you. Did you try to remove the existing dataset and add new one? It already helped once 😊
Let me know if that worked, if not - it would be great if you could share your site, so I could look into it.

Hi! Sorry, hijacking this thread haha. I am following that same tutorial, but in the dataset settings, I dont see the Blog>Posts option, only the other collections already there. I have a blog and posts linked to categories. Maybe it's a permissions thing or the blog has to first be published onto the site? Thanks
Hello,
I tried to recreate an issue you are having, so I created a custom feed following the steps in the article you showed https://www.wix-blog-community.com/post/how-to-create-a-beautiful-custom-feed-with-pro-gallery , but I had 'Categories' as a filter in the dataset.
Could you please, try to remove and add a new dataset?
If that does not help, would you be able to share your website with me and I could look into it, why 'Categories' aren't displayed for you.
Let me know how it goes.
Vilma
