Would like to show my other posts (say recent or a specific category) on my blog post page but I don't want to show the blog post I'm actually reading. This is very difficult to explain but hope it makes sense?
To clarify, say I have got 3 posts: A, B, and C. When I read post C, I'd like to see posts A and B on the side bar of my blog post page. Is that clear?
Thanks,
Antonio
Fair enough. Though I think a more user-friendly functionality should be implemented asap. Side bar including other posts, social share buttons etc. are of crucial importance and should be easily accessible by the user. Thanks again for your help.
@Dovydas Bernotas thanks for sending this. Quick question. I assume the code will have to be customized to suit my needs? Or I can just copy/paste the code into my editor?
@Dovydas Bernotas any feeback on this please?
Could you please expand on how to do that? I mean, once corvid is on, how can I hide the top post only out of the two posts shown in the side bar (see screenshot attached)?
Only possible way is to use Corvid and then with the help of PostPage API data, hide exposed post from widget.
So basically there is no way to avoid showing repetitive articles pinned on the side bar, correct?
Recent posts, as added widget shows recent posts from category that you choose to display. In order to avoid repetitive article, you will need to use only that widget which appears at the bottom of the post.
Hi Dovydas, sounds good about the new feature. However, when i add the Recent posts widget on the side bar, it still shows me the post I'm currently on (this is not happening at the bottom of the post where recent posts are shown correctly, i.e. without repeating the post I'm currently on). Any idea why?
