I'd like to create a table of contents (TOC) to be visible on my blog post page (say on the side bar).
I've tried to use anchors to do that (I created an anchor and placed it by each headline I wanted to be part of my TOC. I renamed the anchors to match my headlines and created an anchor menu which popped up on the blog post page showing the headlines. So far so good.
Problem is that this anchor menu/TOC remains the same on other posts (which have obviously different headlines). So, my question is: Is there any way to make the TOC specific to each single post (i.e. showing headlines related to the specific post selected)?
Thanks,
Antonio
Hi, indeed this feature would also be of great interest to me. I have very long posts that cover different topics and creating a table of contents, by post, that would allow readers to directly access the information that would interest them would be a real asset.
@Wailana Kalama other than anchor links, is there any other way to create links to headlines specific to the post as to make a sort of TOC within the text?
@Wailana Kalama thanks! I think it is much needed!
Hi @Antonio Salituro
Unfortunately, there's no way to add anchor links into individual blog posts as of yet. But we will add your feature request to the wishlist.
