Hi, is there a way to remove a link from a category label?
Namely, when I create a blog widget where I display a blog title, blog description, date published and category label, that category label has a link that leads to a Blog page. But I do not want that. I want a category label to have no link.
I imagine I would somehow need to enter a Wix code and delete <a></a> from the code. Is that even possible - to enter a Wix code like that and just delete some part of the code?
Please do not suggest not to display a category label as a person who I am making that website for, wants to have a category label displayed. I need to remove a link from a category label.
Thanks in advance for any good suggestions.
Hey, Agne,
You say: You could use Velo and create a blog feed with different elements and just leave categories without the links.
It sounds like a difficult thing to do. Wouldn't it be just possible to somehow enter a code of my post list (because it is really a post list that I am dealing with, not a blog feed) and hide/delete the link that it is placed on a category label?
I am able to work in Dev mode with my specific post list (I know it's ID) but I do not know how to go deeper in the code to get to know a ID oh my category label (if I knew it I would perhaps be able to hide/remove a link that is placed on it).
Do you perhaps know how to do that?
Hey @maja.blejec, are you talking about the blog feed or the post page itself? Also, maybe you could explain the reason why you would like to turn off the link?
You could use Velo and create a blog feed with different elements and just leave categories without the links. Or you could set up redirects to other pages when category link is clicked.
