I am open to options and suggestions on what I could do to make my blog even better. Please head over to my sight www.bethanybakes.com and tell me your thoughts.
With currently 5k Visitor a Month i would like to give you the most important tip i have. Focus yourself on content, not so much on design. Currently 7/10 visitors using mobile phones, everything you try to make shiny on a desktop version won’t be even seen by many peoples. Most of the time (my feeling) the best reaction i get, is on pictures and text with in depth knowledge about the things i do.I invested aloooooot of time in design, the result was always to have something i can be proud by myself, but it helped me not a single time for achievements. At end i started everything new (simple layout, design)to be quicker. A reduced workload means more time for the things my fan crowd wants to see. I did it exact the other way my first year of blogging and it was totally time waste. Stay for yourself, not what others expect.
Hi Beth , loved the introduction and how tasty the first blueberry cookies article was presented. The pictures are very close and clear. Let me share a few observations.
-Check the ingredient list that you have for each article, some are bold while others the fonts are not, try to keep everything the same. So if you have ingredients ,equipment bold for one , keep the same for the rest.
-The highlight area on the Home ,Recipe, About - top side of the site. Maybe try to find another design instead of the white. Your name is at the middle and when scrolling down, moves and doesn't show clearly. I love the background design, so maybe try to find a way where your name clearly stands out in beautiful bold letters or opt for something that can show case more of your name and secondary the background.
-The picture of Chocolate white coffee cake is amazing !! you got the perfect angle. Try to keep all your pictures the same theme and size.
There is a website called bbcgoodfood or bbcfood , or any website that you refer to, try to sort of compare and then put your own special touch to it . I love your website and will try the biscuits and get back to you on how it turned out !!

The best way to do this is to visit other blogs and comment on theirs. More often than not they will go over to yours to return the favour.
