Hello Everyone,
I'm starting this discussion because I see it has been years since we asked Wix for multilinguale blog post and I think it's still not clear.
Ok maybe I have to create different categories, but it still not working. I can't chose the categorie because on the home page you must to show all the post you can't just have 1 catégorie or sort them.
Indeed even if I add a shape to hide the first blog all post and add another custom feed on the top. This custom feed as to be exactly the same on a french and an english page. You can't chose the categorie you want to show !!!
And the icing on the cake, you make me pay for that... Wix has to be easier to create a website not to drive people into hell.
So Wix, do you have a precise way to fix this kind of problem ? Because I really want an answer about it.
Yes that's sound like a patch but it's crazy. Because you don't chose, you have one page in french and one in english for the home page, and when you change the language you're still having the same language that was on the first page. Come on it's a nightmare for any user who want to discover my website.
It's not possible to say Wix is international if the dev can't do the easiest thing, just chose the language according to the language website. I think Wix doesn't want to touch the blog app because you have to change the root of the app. Are you afraid it could be too much work. If it's so you should change your dev's.
Hi @Rafal Zacharevič . Before copy and paste an automated answer I would like you to read my post please. As I told you this is not something possible, on the home page, you can't chose the setting. Moreover, it's impossible to hide or delete the one in the home page because you'll be deleted the app Blog. It's an impasse.
Hi @Florent Perret,
Multilingual Blog is on our wishlist but in the mean time you can use custom feeds, to filter posts by categories such as languages. Here's how you do it:
Insert a custom feed to a page -> go to its settings -> in the "Display" panel choose the category you want to display.
Hope this helps!
