Hello, I just put online the blog on my website, it's a travel blog.
I created a page about weekends, with a customized feed, where I have only the category "weekend", and then I have a page about long trips abroad, where right now there is the the general blog, with all the categories. I would like to have there only the posts abot trips abroad, but it doens't seem possible to take off just one category (weekends). So I tried to put an other customized feed and delete, the general blog, but in this way it seems to delete the whole app "blog" and that would be a disaster :D
Any idea or solution? Thanks a lot

@Simonas - Is there an update about this option? We need to be able to select multiple categories and exclude multiple catgories from the blog feeds.
When do you expect to launch the above features?
Is there any updates on hiding blog categories?
Can this be resolved please? It's an embarrassingly simple thing coding-wise for Wix to implement, and it makes managing old blog posts really messy. Right now the only option is to either delete the post you don't want shown, or revert them to "draft", which deletes views, likes and comments.... It's not a solution to just have "custom feeds" for all of your categories, because there is no search functionality or an overview about what categories users can view. Please prioritize this.
Hey there, I have the same issue. Has anything even happened since 2020? Thanks in advance
Hey there. Have same issue here - I want to hide my podcast category from blog as I have custom feed for it. But I have another 3 categories in blog which I want to stay there. Is there any move since September 2020, when this topic was asked for the first time?
Hello, I have a problem with this too.
I have created several "Custom Feeds" on separate pages that can be accessed via the menu in the header. On each of these custom feed pages I have a logo in the header that fits the topic, for example "Cello Lessons" and on the other custom feed "Guitar Lessons".
Unfortunately there is only one page that looks the same for all feeds. Does anyone know a trick how to create a post page for each category with its own logo?
With the blog elements such as "Menu for Categories", "Tag Cloud" and "Archive" there is no possibility to select/display only certain categories, there are always all categories and thus all posts listed.
However, with the blog elements "Post List (Editorial)" or "Post List (Slider)", certain categories can be selected.
I want to organize my blog in a clean way and prevent that someone can see "All posts".
Is that possible?
Hey, thanks for reaching out :) So, at the moment there is no option to hide category from the blog feed menu. Adding to our wish-list! Your approach is smart way to display needed categories ( by adding custom feeds), just instead of deleting you should hide your main Blog Feed from your menu :)
