Thank you for this chance to scribble. By way of intro, my name is Mike, I am photographer and baby blogger on trainee wheels.

One of the things that will be of relevance soon (think of it as an oncoming Tsunami), will be the advent of the ‘Metaverse’. Tis scary as I have to learn a new lingo and terminology. And I must also conceptualize this new playground as a 3D interactive community. From what I understand; your avatar- if you choose can be scanned with a meta scanner and will be a lifelike rep (not a blocky cartoony pile of pixels) of your persona running around in this matrix.
If what I envisage is correct, any writing, photography has the potential to be distributed as an NFT and form part of a blockchain. Your work cannot be divorced from your authorship as your identity is forever linked and encoded with an astronomical encryption that is next to impossible to crack.
Just wondering if other bloggers have investigated the metaverse in terms of this creative potential and monetization. As a photographer this is of interest as I’m sure others have experienced their digitalization’s being pinched and copied ad nauseam.
