Hopefully this is an easy question to answer. I use the blog feature as a way to manage content on my site by category. It's more flexible for adding new content -- rather than adding new pages.
That said, I have a site where I have two distinct needs for a blog - an "Articles" blog which is where I write and publish. And an "In the News" blog which I want to use for the display adding summaries of relevant news articles. I want to keep these separate as one is really internally created content -- and the other is summaries of external.
Is it possible to have two separate blogs?
Thanks!
Thank you for getting back to me. I took a look at Custom Feeds and that may just do it! Corvid looks like an advanced option to give more control, but if I can set it up with two basic Categories that then determine what shows on what page, that's great. Thanks!
Hi Kim,
Unfortunately, we do not have possibility to have two blogs per site. The best way to separate content is to use categories, which you mentioned, you already use. To display category content on different pages, you can use custom feed elements or build feeds with corvid. Here you can see an example and instructions how to do it. Here you can find more nice corvid examples.
I hope this helps.
