Hi Blog team
Is there any chance of having the post part of the url removed? Or as a compromise - the ability to change it.
Being a news site is looks so unprofessional when sharing on social media as you often only see /post/ followed by a short part of the post url.
Wordpress and other blog sites don't have this preceding the post url.
Plus one here - the "/post" part looks really unprofessional. Thanks for looking at it! Also, consider an option to remove character accents from the URL - there are other languages than English :-).
Yes. I also need this. I absolutely hate /post/ as it just doesn’t work for my type of blog. We are a news site - not a blog about baking cakes.
Yes please fix this. This is a HUGE problem. It makes URLs look terrible and unprofessional as well as longer than they need to be.
You should be able to remove it, but also I would like the option to at least replace it with a category.
Right now its www.domain.com/post/where-to-eat-in-new-york
You should be able to have either
www.domain.com/where-to-eat-in-new-york
or at the very least
www.domain.com/mycategory/where-to-eat-in-new-york
Hey Sandra, thanks for reaching out! Atm it is not possible to change "/post/" part of URL - it is in our backlog. Can you specify what is more important for you, ability to remove it or having option to change it (e.g news, articles etc)?
