I just tried the blog writing option out after being away for some years. Thaaaa worst! What has happened?! I I took a look at another non-wix blog and realized I would have to use all the normal page tools to resemble it. The tools available on the blog writing are like using stick and stones to make a house.
You can't even change the background of the blog? Control of anything to give the blog attractive and competitive flavors compared to other blogs are completely missing. I even noticed the copyright at the bottom of this page goes from 2006 - 2021 as no one has cared to even update a simple thing on this site.

I totally agree. If you're a serious blogger WIX shouldn't be your first choice. The possibilities of designing a more personal look are very sparse. And there are not many tools for the author to use. The few templates that come with it also show how few options there are. They are almost the same. If WIX wants to attract bloggers, something radical needs to be done about that functionality. As a start, WIX can ask the users/bloggers what features they are looking for in that part of the system.
