Why use a Content Management tool?

Alright, I know this question sounds silly. But please help me out.

So, I am just about to start my blog which like so many bloggers, it is something that I hope it will grow.

I've been playing with WIX for quite some time, but never thought about it very seriously - until now.

I was wondering how relevant it is to use the Content Management (CM) tool within WIX.

Storing Images and other data can already be neatly partitioned into folders.

Does it make sense to use the CM tool, if you are the single blog writer. Should I use it anyway in case by blog grows?
