Hi! I tried the wix app to write a new post for my blog. But is quite impossible to type. When pressing the space bar for the next word, the written word is repeated. Example: I write the word "bread". After the space bar, "breadbread" will be shown. Or when selecting a suggested word, the first characters are not deleted. Example: I type "bre" for the word bread. Bread is suggested and I click it to fill in. The result will be "brebread".
Really, there is no way of typing a blog post this way. Is this a known issue and how to solve this?

I am sorry for your experience. The issue you have described is a known issue and we are working to solve it. We suspect it is related to a specific keyboard and sometimes to auto correct and predictive text. Some users workaround the issue that disabling the typeahead, predictive text and auto correct helps to solve this issue. I understand it is just a workaround, but it will help until we solve the root cause.
Can you please send the make and model of your phone? It will be really useful if you could also send us the type of keyboard if you know it.

I have a Sony Experia model G8441.
A SwiftKey keyboard, and Android 8.0.0.
No autocorrect and no predictive text or typeahead. Just the suggested words function.

Hi @Mario Bañares , This issue is in wix at least since 1 year and I have reported this multiple times in lot of place with video. But till now there was no real solution provided. Changing keyboard by thousands of users of our website is not practical. They will just stop using the website instead of changing the keyboard. So please find a solution asap and make this issue a number one priority as this is totally preventing the usage of wix forum and wix blog by the users. By the way these are my phone details: Pixel 2 Android Pie Google Keyboard (Languages active: English and German)

I'm disappointed that Wix still don't know the root cause of this problem after over a year ! I'm using the default Android keyboard and I have the same problem, so I strongly suspect Wix's diagnosis of this problem is still wrong well over a year after it first occurred.
This is a complete, unacceptable mess. When I write to support , they say "we are unable to reperform the fault" and close the ticket.
Hi @b.vanzijderveld1 - please use another keyboard (for example default android keyboard). The issue appears to be with the Swift Key and other keyboards. Our reporters had the same issue when writing from mobile and changed to the android built in keyboard.

That is already the default keyboard, and the only one.. It can be used for anything, so Wix app should be able to handle it also in my opinion..
I have the problem with the built in default android keyboard. This Swift Key thing sounds like a red herring to me.
