Honestly, to have a blog with 250+ posts is enough for me to be excited about but I wanted to wait til I hit 400+ members before sharing my experience.
This post will not share as much as you all probably already know a lot about blogging so enough with that.
my website/blog's main job is to push media-oriented art to a larger community. This has been done countless times on multiple websites but I thight it would be fun to start one on Wix. The Blog is full of fun and exciting artworks from a variety of genres/art styles. Anyone who just has an art piece laying around is more then invited to share their experiences with us.
www.inkscrap.com is the ground work to what Wix is beginning to achieve as a web interface seeking to connect members across the land.
Currently the website is closed to members only. I am making plans to edit/modify the site soon and don't want the general public to see my poor design experience 😂😂.
If you're interested in checking out the art-related content on the site, just login!
Thank you for your time :)!
Im sharing an artwork from one of our members. Enjoy!

I open my site from Safari all the time on mobile it's dependent entirely on internet/connection...
On desktop, websites load fairly quick on safari but keep in mind it differs...
Honestly, Wix should incorporate their blog different for us :). I think wix's
blog is great on paper but poorly executed. Only updates are adding more blog elements but I think they need to do some more updates on load time as well as member capabilities.
Wix do not support Safari
I have a problem.
Every time i upload a blog post, the safari browser and google is different.
You have the same issue, i cant get into your webside with safari
OK I've got access now. Looks good.
It shows what this platform is good for however there are some areas it could be better IMO, due to Wix's limitations
- Right of the offset it give me access to post spam to the site if I want to, I think first posts should have the option for Admin approval
- As a writer I have access to things I shouldn't - SEO settings for instance. Thats just confusing
- The default blank post text is better than it used to be but could do with customising.
I don't think any of these things are your fault, it's just Wix hasn't fully thought this design through. It could be perfect, just not there yet.
Okay, sorry for the inconvenience ^.^ I do experiment with Wix Code and was worried I caused a major problem!!
Sorry about that <3
I find I can't sign up to your site. I just get a rotating circle where the signup should be
Update - it's working now
Jeez ok, social media mainly :) My media platforms helped raise a interest in a lot of familiar faces in which case placed themselves on the website.
Ah, I run a lot of contests that connect people who share an interest in art to the site and from there promote it (their artworks) elsewhere.
I mainly want to express how key social media is and how impacting it is for small websites especially blogs to getting started :)
Hi James,
Thank you for sharing your journey, it sounds and looks amazing.
Can you share a bit more about your experience with growing your site members community?
how did you manage to grow the community?
