Yesterday as I was casually scrolling through YouTube's recommendations this lovely video popped up. This very adorable Japanese lady shared such wonderful wisdom and work ethic, it was truly inspirational. I also personally really enjoy Japanese culture and learning from our elders. Misao Kuwata said a couple things that really touched my heart:
"Fear is the mother of success."
"Even if you don't have good grades or you can't go to school...these 10 fingers are your most valuable tools. Just keep them moving and you'll never lack for money."
It blows my mind that her mother taught her this lesson and it's definitely a lesson that I intend to apply and teach my daughter as well. Isn't it refreshing hearing the teachings and lessons from our elders? I hope you find her story inspirational too.
