Hey all!
We want the Wix Blog experience to be perfect for your needs. For this purpose we are creating a beta-testers group and would love you to join it!
Here is the deal:
You’ll be granted early access to the new feature before anyone else
You’ll try it and share your feedback on bugs, clarity, usefulness and possible improvements
We’ll take your feedback to fix and enhance the experience of the feature
You’ll be a part of the final product that reaches the rest of the Blog users
Are you in? Please register here and we’ll drop you an email to confirm your participation.
Once you join the group, we’ll contact you by email prior to every new feature release, letting you know about the testing and giving the link to leave your feedback.
Thanks in advance for being our coolest beta-testers!
Best wishes from the Wix Blog team

I like the simplicity of the old blog and want it back!! How the heck do i get rid of the member login? I don't want members!!
Hi Emma - You have a ton of options with the new WIX Blog. I'd recommend you start within your editor and simply right click your new WIX Blog and click on settings. Once clicked on you'll notice a ton of options including "Login from Menu" - Simply disable that.
@Alin Baho , @Emma Joy Walker AGREED. I got rid of the members login, but now people aren't able to post a comment unless they sign up. I hate that, no one want to sit and make an account just to leave a simple comment on a post. Serious problem here.
@Paige Brown Hi, we are going to provide the several solutions to this, they'll be released in iterations.
Thank you for granting access to the beta migration tool for moving content from old blog to new blog. On Friday, I requested instructions where/how to install the generated Google Search Console code and have not heard back. Please advise.
Hi Eric,
I have send you the detailed instructions by email ;)
Currently testing the beta migration feature old blog to new blog. To my shock, the feature does not include comments and likes: "Comments, likes, and your design selections (fonts, colors, etc.) do not transfer." As anyone knows, comments and likes are the lifeblood of any active site. This is a total show stopper!
I agree. When people comment it could be important and or feedback and people might won't to read that.
I couldn't agree more. Soooo frustrated to have lost all of that engagement on my posts, and not to mention the fact that people now have to login to leave a comment. No one wants to go through all of that just to leave a comment. Ridiculous.
@Simona Griskute For the new migration feature, you should make it where you can still keep your old blog because I like having a members blog and a public blog.
Hi @wixlover, thank you for the feedback. You can keep and run both blogs on your site.
Could you please elaborate more on your site idea and goals? Maybe share URL? We are interested in blog usage scenarios. Thanks!
@wixlover Thank you for sending over the URL. When it comes to creating new posts, you can run both blogs on your site. However, when it comes to the old posts written on the old blog, they can only be accessible on one blog - either on the old if you do nothing or on the new if you complete the migration (since the links of old posts are updated and they re-direct after migration to the new blog). Hope this answers your question!
@wixlover raises a goog point. Will the old blog be unavailable after migration?
I have test the new blog, but I love the old blog. Can I change back from new to old blog? Will the old blog be unavailable after migration?
Hi, to be able to use the old blog, you have to stop after the second migration stop, since after the second step your old posts URL will start re-directing to the new blog. Old blog is still available to use after the migration if you do not update the links (do the second step).
Hi @Simona Griskute , Is the beta testing already started? if yes,I haven't got any email till now to try out new features. Thanks..
Hi Nithin, currently we are testing migration feature, but soon will have new blog features to test. Stay-tuned!
Ja, ist bei mir auch so. Ich habe noch keine Email bekommen, um zu starten...
Hi K.H, please see the answer to Nithin above :)
