Good news for our SEO experts out there! We’re excited to unveil our newest improvements to SEO features in your blog posts. Good SEO is the benchmark of a great blog, helping you to rank higher on search results and attracting readers to click into your posts. Our latest improvements lets our SEO-friendly bloggers tap into advanced SEO features. So if you are familiar with SEO meta tags or want to customize how your post appears in social media , feel free to customize away. So how’s it all work? When writing your post, you’ll now see three tabs under the SEO button in the sidebar: Page SEO: Preview how your post shows up in search results You’ll find the long-time staples that have always been there in Page SEO: the URL Slug, SEO Title and SEO Description, plus a preview of how it all will show up in Google. So What’s New? You can now exclude a single post from search engine results if you like. Social Share: Change how your post shows up on social networks Now with Social Share, you can change how your post appears on social networks like Facebook and Pinterest. So if you want to write a special, emoji-filled description for your Facebook page, or upload a unique image that’s custom-made for Pinterest, feel free to set it up here. Advanced: Customize your post’s meta tags This tab is for the really Advanced SEO-minded bloggers out there. You’ll be able to see all the meta tags that we’ve automatically added to help you rank in searches. If you're an SEO expert, you can tweak the canonical URL or add more custom meta tags to your liking. To find it: From the blog dashboard, go to Create New Post. On the sidebar, click on SEO.
