We are thrilled to announce that you can now access your post page from the Wix Editor!
You can also resize the page and add sidebar elements, such as Instagram feed, subscribe box, about section, ads and more.
(This feature was already available for new blog installations, now it is available for all of our existing users).
Along with the access to the post page, we now provide separate settings for the feed and for the post. Through the new post page, we introduce new settings such as:
Display settings: Allowing you to toggle off/on recent posts & comments sections, author info, updated label, and category labels from the bottom of the post.
Design settings: Lets you control the font style, size and color. Also with new settings for quotes & subtitle design.

Here’s how to get it:
Open your Wix Editor
Wait a few seconds until you see a toast appear at the bottom left-side of your screen
Publish your site
And that’s it - you now have access to the page!
Here’s how to navigate to the post page settings:
Head to your blog page
Click on Settings (or just double click on the blog)
On the Main tab of your settings, click on the link to the post page found in the bottom of the tab
Note: If you don’t get the notification after a few seconds try to publish the site and navigate to the post page as explained.
Share your cool post pages with us!
Also, you can use this thread to share with us which design and display settings are missing for you.
A nice improvement but why isn't this feature provided to existing blog users??
Hi, this feature is available for existing users :) This is exactly what we announce on this post
sorry, I missed that. thanks.
I must say, I am a bit concerned about this new Blog.... I migrated from the old version yesterday and lost a few features that I was used to. Like.... my old blog page was divided in 2 columns: one (the bigger) for the feed and the other (smaller) for all other apps like, counters, facebook and instagram , categories and Tags,.... AS I can see now, with this new Blog I can't re-dimension the feed column. Not even the number of posts on each page (returns all posts published in one single page since beginning....!!! - instead of having "Newer" / "Older" posts.). Is my me or are these problems in fact part of the new Blog?
Hi,
Currently it is not possible to resize the feed, but you can resize the post page and add all of the elements that you want on the side.
In order to have page numbers, you need to choose it in the blog settings.
On the Wix Editor:
Double click on the blog
Click on Layout
On the section of "How should posts load on your feed" select "With page numbers", and set the number of posts you want to show in each page.
Please contact me if you have ant other questions :)
Welcome to the Waiting Game! All we seem to get from Wix is "We'll add this to the Wish List," and "We're working on it." The lack of an open comments system has been years in the making and still no solution.
"Toast" icon does not appear on my blog. And I am unable to see procedures for adding sidebar elements. Please advise, thanks.
Hi,
Even if the toast didn't appear, you can access the post page via the blog button on the editor.
In order to add sidebar elements, just resize the post area and add whatever you want to add - instagram feed, subscription box, about me section, Google adsense app etc.
Please contact me if you need any further help.
Tried, that. There's no control over the width of the post page outside the vertical dotted lines for placing new apps to right or left of post. Can you provide us with a video illustrating the steps involved? Please advise, thanks.
Hi Eric,
Check our this article:
https://support.wix.com/en/article/adding-a-sidebar-to-the-post-page-in-the-new-wix-blog
@Maya Ekron Video does not show where the sidebar elements are coming from!
@Eric Killorin As explained in the article, you can either create sections by yourself (e.g., about section) or add existing elements. Instagram and adsense are apps that can be found in the app market (the "Add Apps" button you see in the editor), and you can build the subscription form using Wix Forms.
Please contact us if you need any further help :)
Hi there,
I am trying to add a comment space for each separate blog but I couldn't. Can someone help me please!
Can we have more design for the post page ? Especially the recent post .
