Hey guys, Just to keep this all under the right category here is something that is very important for my blog specifically but may be possible with API hopefully sooner.
The idea comes from creating an online classifieds for the automotive industry. Normal posts can be created and published by all members however every time a post is created the "Member" who created the post gets re-directed to another page.
"Success Your Post was created" - From there user can select a "Top Ad" feature for a cost. For example I would create $3 dollars for 3 days top ad (Post gets pinned at top)
Again it's super hard to know exactly what everyone wants to specifically create and design, can a moderator help me out with this? I understand this is not possible but thoughts? Really interested in this 'upselling' method and would really take my blog to the next level.
Hi Alin, you are making correct conclusion, this is a very specific need, which we are not sure will be able to achieve with Blog API. Did you considered using Wix Forum instead of Wix Blog? It seems that forum platform and functionalities would better serve your needs.
Hey Simona, I was able to develop this with WIX Code however i wanted to use the WIX Blog as i love the layout and features.
Im going to attempt this when the WIX Blog API comes out, i trend to have really good luck with making things happen so cross your fingers ill share my blog update at that time.
