Firstly, it would be great to have a trending/most viewed 'side feed' that could be placed down the side of the blog homepage. I have tried to create something similar on my own through the custom feed feature, but the issue of not being able to re-size the feed to fit into a column prevents it's success... which leads me to my next point.
This would be very welcomed: the ability to effectively re-size the blog body and blog feeds. Often, I would like to be able to shrink (proportionately, without losing anything) the size of the 'most recent' feed... it's too large to place into a minimalistic website in my opinion.
Finally, perhaps there is already a way to do this, but the caption/subtitle of an article that appears below the headline of a post on the blog home page needs to be more effective. I cannot have a short and complete caption/subtitle/preview, without the following paragraph appearing in the 'caption box' despite it - in the article - being placed many lines down. An example of this can be seen demonstrated here:
I cannot see a way to stop the 'Welcome to your blog post' line to be removed. If I replace it with another line, it simply replaces it. If I push it down further in the article, it still appears.
So, three things: a trending/most viewed feature (this in particular would be fantastic), the ability to resize the blog/blog feed and a better caption/subtitle/preview system in place.
Would love to see this!
