The Complete Guide to Blog Layouts on the Wix App

Did you know that you can now customize how your members see your blog feed? Introducing the Customize Member View feature in the Wix App!

Basically, this means that you can now choose from 5 different amazing layouts for your blog feed and customize its look on the App. Make your posts stand out with bold cover images, gorgeous carousels, or polished rows that make it even easier for readers to browse your posts.

Read on to learn about these 5 new layouts.

Card List

Grab your readers’ attention with big cards. Choose to display a great cover image or go subtle without it.

Category List

Let your readers browse through your categories with ease. Choose which categories you want to display in Content Settings -- all or just specific ones.

Post List

Display your posts in tidy, compact rows with the Post List.

Carousel (Classic) & Carousel (Text on Image)

Show off your best posts in a gorgeous carousel. This layout also comes with the option to display only Featured Posts or posts from a specific category.

Depending on which layout you choose, you can also:

• Choose which categories to show

• Display a Create Post button for yourself and your contributors

• Choose what you features to show on each post in Display Settings (likes, comments, etc.)

What if you want to change up the layout later? No problem! If you ever get tired of one, switch to another in Settings. One click and the layout is fresh again!

How to Add a Layout:

1. Open your place in Wix App

2. Open the Admin Menu by clicking on the three bars

3. Tap on Customize

4. Tap on + Add Section:

5. Tap on the Blog tab.

6. Choose your layout and get customizing!
