In Dynamic pages, is there a way to have custom feeds that show blogs from a category as specified in the dataset? Would want the category to be different for each dynamic page, instead of being static.
Alternatively, on all the default Blog Category pages, is there a way to add custom text or images specific to each category? Essentially, is there a way to make the categories dataset not read-only and allow you to add new fields?
Hi @Dovydas Bernotas
In addition to following up on the above, had another question. When you add the posts dataset, it has the unintended consequence where every single post becomes its own dynamic page. Meaning that I have a collection called "city". Now for every post, there's a URL that is www.site.com/city/post. Is there any way to prevent this from happening? Thanks.
Hi @Sean Lau,
Yes, you need to add posts dataset and repeater. In posts dataset, add Categories filter which value source is another dataset.
2. Yes, there is a way by creating a new collection. Add fields that you need, then add category field with Reference type, and refer to Categories collection. Attaching a screenshot of how it should look like.
Then add the dataset to your page and also filter by category. After all these steps, connect needed elements to the dataset that you recently created.
Sorry, but currently there is no way to allow add new fields to blog related (posts and category) datasets. Let me know if you succeeded.
