Background first:
I am building an RV Rebuild website detailing an extensive overhaul of a travel trailer.
I want a place for comments, so I added a blog to my home page. So far so good.
I am new to Wix blogging, therefore have to learn it as I go. I created the primary blog post which will always be at the top, with a descriptive title, then in the text area under the title, a description. Again, so far so good.
My site is live with the free Wix URL, but I am not going to be live with my purchased domain and URL until I finish building the site. I am in the testing / building / editing phase right now, and using the free one works for that.
Here is the problem. I try to edit the text in my blog post but I cannot get it to show up live. For learning purposes, I wrote "Test description" believing I could edit it later. I can edit the text, I can save it, I can publish it, but as soon as I go to my site it will not show my new description, only the old original one. But I go back in to edit the text, and it already shows my edit.
But I can change the blog post title, save and publish and it shows up. And these 2 things are in the same edit page.
I also changed all the colors of my blog page to suit my color theme, but cannot see how to change the color of the "Write a Comment" in the comment text box. No matter what I do it remains an unreadable light grey.
Can anyone offer some insight into this problem?
Thank you
Hey @bob33builder
Sorry for the delayed response, it would be great if you could send a screenshot of the "Test description" issue you are having.
And regarding the "Write a comment" text in the comment box, to change the colour you should go to the post page, then settings and under the design section select "Text style & Color". There you can change the color of your text (marked red in the picture).
Let me know if that helps!
