It's been 7 months since I made the terrible mistake of swapping Old Blog for new blog. So far, all the things people want from new Blog are missing, and instead Wix keep adding in daft updates to it - we still can't alter the text font/size in a post, can't alter the layout, can't even schedule posts in the future, can't link featured/relevant posts to a new one - New Blog is a basic notepad and my blog now looks amateurish and basic, not even remotely professional and I've noticed a slow decline in users/readers. The photo/image editor is shocking, worse than Paint. Three sizes to post images in, and they mess with formatting? It just looks cheap, outdated almost like you've stumbled across some inactive website from the late 90s. I know a Wix admin mod will come along and say all those things are being worked on, go to wishlist and vote, but I shouldn't have to. Wix should be providing a cutting edge blog, that's what we pay a great deal of money for not this wikia-style basic stuff. it took them a month to remove G+ links for godsake. And why are all my photos linked to Pininterest, I don't want that. And what happened to right-click protect? It's been downgraded yet we're supposed to keep paying the same amount for less functionality. So disappointing.
Hello, sorry to hear your disappointment. Wanted to assure you, that we listen to people who use wix blog, understanding their needs and releasing features accordingly. In recent months we released quite a lot highly requested features: - Customisation of post page; - Customisation of mobile and new layout; - Text editor color picker and line height; - Pagination for feed; - Blog roles from dashboard; - Post excerpt; - Integration with Corvid; - Blog in WixApp; - AMP and Schema; - Import post from wordpress; - Preview post from dashboard; .. and many other small fixes and performance improvements. Regarding your requests: 1) You can change your font family and size in the post page settings that applies to all your posts. Can you elaborate more why you need ability to use different font families in different posts? Custom font size overides is added to our wishlist 2) "Can't alter the layout", you are talking about feed or post page? For feed you can use Corvid and create any type of post cards 3) Scheduling it is coming soon! :) 4) Featured / Related posts - adding to our wishlist. You can disable Pinterest by going to Post Page settings > Display Tab > Social Sharing.

why wouldn't I want to? Why am I stuck with one font that you define? What if I want to quote someone, alter it to make a point, personalise in the slightest?

actual post page - the Old Blog treated a post the same as any other page, you could add other links, pictures, feeds, anything to make it look like a webpage and from there I got lots of hits as people navigated from a post to another post/page. Now my Bounce rate is terrible. Literally dropped to nothing the day I switched to new Blog.
It's just not fit for use as a review website where you expect interaction, Wix has realigned as an e-commerce site it seems, bloggers are out. New Blog is just incredibly basic - you even reduced the photo editor to the less capability than a phone's photo editor. what happened to adding graphics, altering to any size, moving them around a post? now it's just centre/left/right and at 3 presets which resize as it sees fit.
It's just no longer a place for bloggers or those trying to maintain review-style websites. if you're running a hipster cafe or a ebay page wix is for you.
Great, good answers there Wix. FFS.
@fbt Thanks for response. 1. We are adding your request to use custom fonts in in different posts. (you are still able to define separate preset fonts for Main Title, T1, T2, paragraph and quotes) 2. You are able to alter the layout of your post page. You can resize it and add custom editor elements on the similar as in old blog :) Here you can find our past update, how you can access and edit your post page: https://www.wix-blog-community.com/blog/updates/now-you-can-access-design-your-post-page Good news - we are working on custom image resizing in your post. Hope it helps!
Simonas: I hope I never have a job like yours where I have to make bad excuses for a terrible product. THE NEW BLOG SUCKS - IT IS TERRIBLE - I am so thankful to God I do not have to apologize and make excuses for an awful awful product. Good Luck - but to keep some dignity tell the truth or resign.
